"Customer states that freezer isnt getting below 10 degrees and the ice maker stopped making ice. Checked control for error codes and found door ice maker full after dispensing error. No other error codes present. Checked function of all fans, the compressor, and ice maker are all currently operating as it should. Amp draw of the compressor is very low at .5 amps again. Suction line to the compressor is not very cool. Discharge is warm. Unit has a poor frost pattern. Unit has a refrigerant leak. Evacuated refrigerant and pressurized system with nitrogen to 125 psi. Leak is in the cabinet between the liner and outer cabinet. Leak is not accessible to repair. No repair possible. ; saved tckt"

Voltage to the unit is correct at 243vac. Replaced the bake element and preheated unit to 375. Unit go to temperature in 13 minutes. Adjusted the temperature offset of the control. All ok. "Customer states that the unit makes a grind/hum towards the end of the cycle. Also getting error codes. Checked control for errors and found F0E7 load detected during clean washer cycle error, and F6E3 communication error. The F0E7 error can be addressed with an over the air software update. Whirlpool has a service bulletin that will keep the unit from showing the error. Unit did not make no abnormal noises in test mode. Basket, and agitator are tight. Suspension is tight. Unit is slightly out of level. Inspected the underside and found the rotor bolt loose. This has allowed the rotor to drop down. When this happens it will make a grind/hum sound. Removed rotor to inspect and found no damage. Reassembled the rotor and applied thread locker to the bolt. Ran calibration cycle after leveling. Unit is functioning as it should. Advised customer on how to update the software."

Customer states that the unit started showing FF error later the same evening we repaired the unit. FF is a freezer fan error. Fan was replaced with evaporator cover assembly. Freezer evaporator fan isnt running. Voltage to the fan is correct. Tested fan motor and it is shorted open. Replaced evaporator cover assembly and fan is running. Error code is gone. Unit should be down to temp in 24 hours.

"Customer states unit makes a buzz/vibration noise from the rear and water is slow to dispense. New unit with factory filter in it. Water is a little sluggish to dispense. Inspect water shut off and found the handle tight to turn. Most likely hard water. Advised customer have valve addressed. The noise is coming from the condensate pan vibrating against the base. Insulated underneath the pan to stop noise. All ok. If issue with water is still present after the supply shut off has been addressed tech would need to bring main valve, and secondary valve."

Inspected the unit and could hear an abnormal rattle. Disassembled the unit and cleaned the support wheels and idler pulley and found a loose screw at the blower housing assembly. Made adjustments and reassembled the unit. Tech is still here some form of rattling. Found no mechanical failures. Advise the customer to continue to use in the unit and a monitor for any error codes.
