"Inspected the unit and found the gearcase grinding along with grease leaking from the underside. Grease covering all underside components. Found a miscommunication error code while in diagnostics. Attempted to removed the washplate and rotor and neither would come off. Unit needs a tub job along with the controls replaced. Not a recommended repair. Parts needed for repair: outer tub, basket, Gearcase, rotor and screw, stator and screws, clutch, drain pump, splutch kit, hub drive, washplate and screw, control board, and display board. Additional labor and a second tech would be required for repair."

"Installed new paddles on the dispenser unit still was giving me issues of dispensing the water in the ice without having any hesitation. It would still pause in the middle of the press of the paddle so I installed the main control. When I took off the back cover, I noticed that it was really warm to touch in this area upon further removal of the main control. I discovered that there was a burn mark on the housing and also on the back of the board. It looks like one of the resistors got really hot and either burned itself out, but when I replaced the main control and tested the paddles, everything is working with no hesitation. Lights are not dimming. Everything is working as it should."
