"Inspected the unit and found a large amount of ice buildup behind the evaporator cover in the freezer section. Removed the evaporator cover and tested the heating element and it passed, and tested the fan and it was functioning properly. The ice buildup on the evaporator is preventing good airflow to the rest of the freezer and fresh food section. Control board is not entering the defrost cycle and the board needs to be reprogrammed. Reset and reprogram the board. Advise the customer they will need to run the unit through A 24 hour defrost cycle (unit turned off at breaker) with the freezer door left open to allow the remaining ice to melt. Roughly 10 hours after turning the unit back on the customer should be able to put food in the unit."

"Inspected the unit, pulled it away from the wall and removed the top panel. Ran a drain and spin cycle and found no issues or sounds. Pushed the unit back against the wall and could hear a tapping noise coming from the water lines hitting the back of the unit. Made adjustments to the lines, ran a test cycle. Cleared any obstructions around the unit and during the medium spin cycle could hear a very loud rattling noise coming from a loose screw or piece of metal inside the unit. Could not pinpoint the sound. Advised the customer that the manufacturer warranty does not cover noise issues or complaints and the extent of the coverage is only for defects. No defect or mechanical issues."
