"Upon arrival the customer had removed the refrigerator from the kitchen where it was leaking into the garage and disconnect the waterline. The customer showed me several pictures and videos of the unit leaking and it was leaking directly from the filter housing in the fresh food section. Removed the back panel inspected the waterlines and the filter housing area. The customer stated they've already replaced the unit and they do not want the unit back in their home because they do not trust the unit. Called HBW and spoke with Julia, and they are going to process the claim as a non repairable issue. All checks ok."

Inspected the unit and found the front glide damaged. Attempted to install new glides and made adjustments to the bearing to allow the unit to run without making a loud screeching sound. Ran a test cycle and the unit is still rumbling and making a loud noise. Disassembled the unit and removed glide assembly and made adjustments. Glide assembly and bearing needs to be replaced. Called landlord and provided them with an estimate for repair. Tech also advised against the repair due to the extensive amount of damage inside the drum and other areas of the unit due to normal wear and tear and age of the unit. Customer declined repairs. We advised the tenant that the landlord intends to replace the unit would be contacting them. All checks OK

Hooked up the app check to the back of the unit and found the compressor clicking and making a loud rumbling sound and extremely hot to the touch. Tech does not recommend the repair due to the cost of the repair versus a new unit.

"Upon arrival customer stated that unit isnt sensing or agitating properly. Ran unit in diagnostics mode and no errors present. Ran unit to test and it isnt shifting from spin to agitate. Inspected splutch and actuator. Splutch has some play and shifter motor isnt moving. Replaced from stock, calibrated, and ran to test. All ok. Unit is operating as it should. ; used 1 W10913953 (Actuator), and 1 W10721967 (Splutch) from stock"
