Inspected the unit and found cracks behind the evaporator cover in the liner wall and a large amount of ice buildup. Icemaker was lodged in a block of ice. I provided an estimate for a temporary fix on these issues given that the liner is not repairable. Customer approved repair. Patched all cracks with pirma gum. patched around all lines and breaks in the liner coming in to the evaporator area. Also Applied silicone around the ice box to better insulate the icemaker so that less ice would appear from warm air entering in to the icebox. Provided Samsungs upgrade kit to the icemaker. Customer states the unit tumbles but wont heat. Voltage to the unit is correct at 235 V. Removed lower panel and found thermal fuse shorted open. This is why the unit will not heat. Removed drum to install thermal fuse and cleared unit of lint. Reassembled and ran to test. Unit is heating as it should. All OK.; used 1 279973 (Thermal fuse kit) from stock

Customer states that unit is making a loud grinding sound at the end of the cycle. Otherwise unit is operating fine. No error codes stored. Unit has a slight squeak in spin but no loud grinding sounds. Filled unit and forced to drain. Drain pump sounds normal. Inspected transmission and clutch assembly. No signs of dragging or end play. Wash plate is loose. Removed and inspected underneath. Splines are good still. Secured wash plate and added thread locker. Ran calibration and test. Clutch was dragging for second or two but went away. Unable to duplicate concern noise. No abnormal noises otherwise. Shifter may not be moving fully to allow the clutch to engage/disengage but it currently is working. No error codes to indicate shifter problems.

Customer states that the oven isnt cooking evenly. Center of cake wasnt done. Set oven to 350 bake. After unit got to temp and allowed it to run. Temps where about 10 degrees lower. Calibrated control to 10 above. Advised customer to use and monitor.

Customer states that unit wont start a cycle and shuts off on its own. Checked unit for error codes. F4E3 motor not running error present. No other errors. Ran diagnostics cycle to test. Unit ran with no issues. Control is shorting out causing erratic operation. Replaced control and verified correct operation. All ok.
