"Inspected unit and found a E 31 error code, which indicated that there was a water issue somewhere on the unit. Could not find what the problem was so I called tech-support and they walked me through a couple things to look at. This unit was not used by the customer at all. It was still in installation stage, but once I opened up the unit underneath that was water underneath the float switch, which was causing the drain pump to continue to run and also causing the error code to continue to display due to the fact that there was water located there, and it was tripping a sensor to not allow any more water to come into the unit so this is a safety feature. Cleaned up the water leak turning the water on did not see any leaks ran a test cycle on the unit and cleared the code and the unit checked good"

Pulled the unit from under the cabinet and removed the top and found door switches appeared in good shape, no other failure. I advised the customer. We would have to order the main control board and switch assemblies to see if that resolves issue but theres a good chance we have to order other parts once we replace out the board, but we wouldnt know until replacing the board.
