Previous service company replaced the damper assembly with the sensor and did not install it correctly. Removed and replaced damper and positioned sensor correctly. Sealed up around edge damper. The control board relays turned off and on during the entire cycle with no issues. Recalibrated the temperature by 25 degrees. All checks ok.

Pulled the unit forward and found the compressor extremely hot to touch and the condenser fan running. The compressor would kick on and run for about 45 seconds and then kick off. Found no frost pattern on the evaporator. Provided information to the customer about a failed compressor and provided an estimate. The unit is 21 years old and a tech recommended replacing the unit due to the cost of a sealed system repair and additional risks in the future.

Inspected the unit and found the control not responding and staying in the sense cycle. Installed control and reprogrammed. Ran a normal cycle and it beeped end after sensing. Ran a drain and spin and the unit drained and beeped but did not spin. Inspected the underside of the unit and found no damage or loose wires. Disconnected the sensor and plugged it back in. The unit finished the sense cycle and spun several times then filled with water. Once the agitator was activated the unit beeped and displayed end. Tenant stated that unit showed E6 and E2 error. According to owners manual E2 is open lid error and E6 is a door lock malfunction. No loose connections. Ran unit in normal wash to test. Lid locked and unit started fine. Unit advanced in cycle with no issue. Lid switch or control may have intermittent short but unable to duplicate concern at this time. Customer has photos of both errors coming up. Will work up quote and contact the landlord. Parts arent available through our sources. Confirmed with Shari. Informing landlord of Parts availability.

Found the icemaker only making small cubes due to the water valve being clogged. Pulled the unit and found the water line attached to the water valve leaking. Took photos of the leak. Replaced water valve and board. Reconnected the water line and it was still leaking at the line (not the valve). I turned the water off to the unit and advised the customer of the issue. I advised them to have the line repaired and reinstalled. Once the unit has water again they should see ice production after 48-72 hours. All checks ok.

Inspected unit and found a failed icemaker. Installed icemaker. Checked the waterline and found it frozen on the door to the Icemaker but not at the dispenser. Advise the customer they need to run it through a 24 hour defrost cycle to allow the ice in the line to melt. After defrosting for 24 hours they can plug it back up and expect ice production to return after about 48 hours.

Inspected the unit and found once the oven cavity got up the past 350? that the control board and display would start blinking and lose power resetting itself. Found the top burners working properly. Found the control display clock and relay board no longer available. Found no safety concerns with the unit and advised the customer they could use it however they may have issues with consistent heating. Call the landlord and advise them of the situation and recommended the unit be replaced due to the parts no longer being available
