Checked unit over found that the unit had a short in control and display and harness. No repair putting into options

Cleared drain pump and reprogrammed control. Tested in spin and checks ok

Replaced melted terminal block and wire harness. Replaced power cord. Checks ok

Checked unit over and found the unit would not power on. Found that the terminal block wires had melted. Repaired wires. Tested unit found the unit with power up but would not cycle. Found that the wire harness in the door and control board both and melted together. Spoke with homebuyers and theyre putting the unit into replacement options due to being burnt up.

Replaced blown fuse. Checks ok ; used 1 3392519 (FUSE) from stock

Installed all provided parts and ran to test. Both ovens heated to 350 within ten minutes and continued to maintain that temperature. Oven is working properly. All ok.

Customer states that unit fills but doesnt move any water. Ran diagnostics cycle to check for errors. No errors present. Wash motor is shorted. This is why it wont move any water. Installed new wash motor and ran unit to test. Unit is now moving water. All ok.

Inspected the unit and found no active leaks in or around the washer. Informed the customer of some maintenance steps that can be taken to insure no leaks like cleaning around the door and door boot and removing dispenser tray and thoroughly cleaning the compartments. All checks ok

Inspected the unit and found everything functional. Advised that customer use only one pod no matter what size load. There were no stored error codes. Ran multiple test cycles. Re-calibrated the unit. All checks OK

Inspected the unit and found a large amount of detergent residue under the Agitator. Cleaned all that could be got. Advised the customer use only two table spoons of liquid detergent no matter what size load. And to use affresh regularly to keep the residue down. All checks ok

Inspected the unit and found that it was never converted to LP. Explain that insurance company would cover a trip charge but would not cover parts or labor. Converted oven. Ran a test cycle. All checks OK

Inspected the unit and found a clogged drain line. And warm air entering through the inlets behind the evaporator cover in the fridge section. Removed evaporator cover with steamer due to ice blockage. Removed all ice From lines and ice around evaporator fan. Patched all breaches in the liner with sealant. Unclogged drain line after pulling unit out away from the wall. Cleaned up inside after reassembling the evaporator cover. All checks OK. Explain to the customer that this was a temporary fix.

Unit isnt defrosting. This is why it wont cool. Checked control for errors and found a open defrost sensor. Control isnt sensing the temperature to allow it to defrost. Checked the defrost sensor at the control and it isnt shorted open. Control isnt reading temp correctly. Unit is 2 years old in kitchen. Customer states that water or ice wont dispense. Unit is also beeping. The beeping is a door alarm. The freezer door switch is shorted. The unit wont dispense water or ice if it thinks the door is open. Jumped switch to test ice and water. Ice dispenses but water wont. Inspected dispenser paddle and found the arm broken. "Customer states that unit is making a grinding sound in the wash cycle. Sounds like gears grinding. Wash plate is tight. Inspected the clutch assembly and found the clutch not fully disengaging. Shifter is operating correctly. Pulsator does not want to remove easily. Customer states that unit is having the same issue it did a year ago. Control freezes up when running the oven. They have to reset the breaker to get it to function. No signs of loose or broken wires. No signs of moisture currently. Suspect that moisture/steam from the oven is shorting out the control. Unit needs touch pad. Customer states that the unit intermittently is showing a 3C error and wont advanced past the rinse. Water is draining out. 3C error is a motor error. Drain pump is operating as it should. Customer states that the ice is back in the freezer. Insulated water line at the back to keep it from rubbing the panel. Secured panel. Cleared ice from the defrost drain but could not clear the clog. After further inspection I found the defrost drain clogged with insulation. The foam insulation split through the liner when it was filled at the factory. Unit is not repairable. Liner is cracked and defrost drain is blocked with foam. Also found sealing issues at the top of the freezer. The liner is bulging in one spot and has a large gap where the liner meets the cabinet. Checked unit over found oven had caught on fire in self clean and melted door and frame. No repair per AHS

Customer was having unit dribble water out the dispenser when releasing. Customer hadnt replaced the water filter since he had the unit. He just recently replaced the water filter and it seems as if the unit is functioning better. I informed him that because that filter had not been replaced recently there was probably calcium buildup in the lines and in the valve that was causing this unit to drip even after the dispenser was released. I informed him that if this was the case and we had to replace the water valve it wasnt something that would be covered because the filter had not been replaced properly and when it was supposed to be.

Reprogrammed and tested all water levels and agitation and spin. Working properly.

Checked unit over found bake not working. Found thermostat bad and not sending voltage to the bake element. No model available. Unit not repairable. About 20 years old in the kitchen. Pictures attached .

Checked unit over found that the unit would not drain properly due to their being debris in the drain hose and in the tub and drain pump. Disassembled unit, cleared all hoses and drain pump as much as possible. Tested unit multiple times no debris came into the filter housing. Drained fine and checks OK

Replaced filter housing and cleared blockage from water line to icemaker and derby out of fill valve. Tested unit and working properly now

Checked unit over and found that the unit was leaking from around the edge of the tub. Tub is warped causing unit to leak. Spoke with American on shield due to the age of this unit they are not going to fix the unit.

Inspected the unit and found it leaking at the tub and heating element. This is caused by the heating element overheating and warping the tub. "Inspected the unit and found the gear case failed along with the water valve, tub assembly, and support. The unit was manufactured in 1976. The unit is no longer repairable. Called American home shield and advised to replace the unit. Auth135#JLMI"

"Inspected the unit and tested the hot and cold water valves, shift actuator, lid lock, temp sensors, motor and capacitor, drain pump and basket. All mechanical checks ok. Recalibrated the unit and made adjustments to the drain hose as it was not placed/installed with a standard height loop (which can cause issues with the uni). Explained to the customer to use no more than 2 tbs of liquid detergent (or 1 pod) and to dilute it prior to placing in the washer. Explained to the customer that the dryer runs off a timer and the washer runs off a smart control board. Advised the best way to run the unit is to add the diluted detergent first, then clothes, select your cycle options, close the lid and press start. Advised every time the customer opens the lid or changes a setting after pressing the start button you increase the odds of confusing the smart board as it is constantly trying to figure out why you opened the lid/changed a setting. Once you press start you should not touch the control or lid until it finishes. If you need to change a setting or add more clothes always pause the and then do so. Once you press start again give it time to try and evaluate what you changed. All checks passed."

Inspected the unit and found the waterline clogged and unit not making ice and the icemaker blocked with ice. Cleared blockage and found the waterline running to the icemaker frozen over. Made adjustments and replaced the water filter for the unit. The water dispenser is not working properly. Advised the customer they will need to defrost the unit for at least 24 hours with the doors open and the unit powered off to allow the waterline running to the icemaker to defrost. Unit cannot make ice until the waterline is defrosted.

Inspected the unit and found a void or breach in the liner and foam on the back wall. Causing an ice ball on the back wall and leaking in the interior. Unit is not repairable

Inspected the unit and found it leaking from the door glass. Removed the door. Disassembled the door and the hinges. Cleaned around the door seal and the glass. Repositioned the glass. Reassembled and reattached the door. Ran a test cycle. All checks OK. Informed the customer that if it leaks again that the part is no longer available.
