Checked unit over found that the unit was cooling properly and did not have any frost buildup in the freezer. Refrigerator was at correct temperatures. Checks OK

Checked unit over found that the unit was heating and everything was functioning properly. Multiple buttons on the touchpad are worn off. Called American home shield and gave them this information. Due to the unit functioning normal and the issues are solely being cosmetic American shield is not going to cover replacing the control panel.

Replace water valve to icemaker due to the unit not filling with water. Tested unit checks OK

Inspected unit and found an issue with the belt. All checks OK

Inspected the unit and found a plastic guard for the drum had come loose and was rubbing on the unit. Also found a large amount of lint buildup inside the unit found the motor. Cleared out and repaired guard. All check ok. Provided estimate to Aarons and they approved.

"Inspected the unit and when attempting to spin the basket I could hear loud grinding noise in the basket wobbling it will not spin freely. Removed the washplate bolt and washplate, inspected the inner and outer baskets, found no clothing or debris preventing the basket from spinning. Found a small amount of grease around the gearcase head. Pulled the unit away from the wall and inspected the underside. Found the rotor and stator in place and the bolt tightly secured. Found a small amount of grease leaking from the gearcase. Attempted to pull the inner basket up and off the gearcase and it would not move. The gearcase has cracked and become stuck to the outer and inner baskets. The repair will require to replace the outer and inner tubs along with the gearcase and fittings. The repair is very expensive and the tech does not recommend the repair due to cost and potential future issues with repair. The unit is only a few years old per the customer."

Inspected the unit and found the door latch not lined up with the strike. Disassembled the door and made adjustments to the door latch and strike. The doors not opening closing properly without any issues.

Customer wanted the drain filter removed and cleaned out and could not remove the filter. Removed the filter and cleared debris. Made adjustments to the drain pump and filter. Demonstrated to The customer how to remove it and install it correctly. All checks OK

"Inspected the unit and found the griddle element intact and the wiring in good condition. Found the thermostat connected properly and not damaged. Tested the control knob and it functioned properly and recognized temp increases and decreases. Set the temp to 250 degrees and after 7 minutes was at an average of 250 at the center of the griddle and 180 degrees on the edges. Set the temp to 300 degrees and after 15 minutes was at an average of 300 at the center of the griddle and 250degrees on the edges. Set the temp to 350 degrees and after 25 minutes the unit was running away with the temp. Temp in the center was 455 degrees at the center and 340 degrees at the edge. As I continued to run the cycle it would randomly spike in temp. Turned the temp setting down and the control would drop in temp than quickly jump back up. Customer had a lightning strike recently and it now affecting the temp controls on the unit. Found a similar control issue with back burner. Found an inconsistent short in the electrical, This presents a safety hazard for the customer, and not repairable. Tech recommends to replace the unit due to temp control safety issues."

Inspected unit and found an E01 error code on the display. Had customer turn off breaker for about 30 seconds and turn it back on. Was able to start and run cycle. Told customer that she could pay for the service charge right now and it is good for 30 days so if she continues to have this problem she can call in and I can get the control board ordered for her.

Checked temperatures in the fresh food section and they were an average of 35? and an average of 18? in the freezer section. The unit will have to be defrosted for 24 hours before we can install parts. Inspected unit and found icemaker motor humming like it was going to cycle but the arm staying in the same spot. After about 10 minutes icemaker was extremely hot to the touch. Checked unit over found that the unit had bad suspension rods. No repair due to cost.

Disassembled unit found that the unit had a shorted heating element. Replaced heating element. Checks OK; used 1 DE486A (ELEMENT) from stock

Checked unit over found that the refrigerator drain was plugged up. Cleared out refrigerator drain and made adjustments to rear drain. Unit has an extremely thick layer of ice on back wall instructed customer to defrost unit to clear block of ice.

Cleared out drain pump and tested. Unit checks ok

Checked unit over found that unit had a bad speed sensor and that the hub bearing was slipping. Unit needs a new actuator and new hub bearing. No repair

Removed towel out of the blower wheel. Checks ok

Replaced drain pump and leveled counter for customer. Checks ok

Inspected the unit and found the wash motor activating and making a low humming noise and no water flow through the spray arms. The wash motor has failed. Provided estimate for repair.

Cleared out dispenser because it has plugged up the dispenser. Checks OK

Checked unit over found bad connection on sensor. Ran cycle after testing and unit functioning properly now.

Customer complained of flame pattern and wanted to know how to clean the unit. Inspected the unit and found several of the burner caps not aligned properly and not giving off good flame pattern. Made adjustments to the caps and ran a test cycle on the burners. Demonstrated to the customer how the burners function and the purpose of the igniters. Made adjustments to the racks inside the oven and show the customer how to run a clean cycle. Made adjustments to the burner knobs and found everything on the unit functioning properly. All checks OK

"Inspected the dispenser paddle and it functioned on the crushed, cubed, and water cycles. Checked over the freshfood section and freezer section and found no issues. Found no issues with the water line or water valve. Customer had a video of the issue. It appears in the video that once the paddle (water) was activated it did not dispense for roughly 1 sec and you could hear a clicking sound than it dispensed water. Tech cannot locate any issue with the unit. Customers complaint documented for Frigidaire."

Called techline and they recommended replacing the control panel. They advised it is most likely a stuck key and would not cause any other issues. Provided info and estimate to the customer. Customer will monitor the unit.

Found the burner racks installed the wrong way. Installed the burner racks in the correct place. Made minor adjustments to the bottom drawer to allow it to close better. All checks OK

Inspected the unit and found the control panel at the top of the door cracked due to the cabinets being too tight against the appliance. Found the door not closing properly due to the cabinets and the door gasket being misaligned. Made adjustments to the door gasket and control panel and adjusted the doors so it can close without hitting the cabinets. I advised the customer the control panel is only covered under the 30 day cosmetic warranty. Door is closing properly and no other issues found.

Unit checks out ok at this time.

"Original issue was that the lid lock would not close. Customer replaced the lid lock assembly and the unit locked and unlocked without any issues. Upon further inspection found error code F7E4 (basket re-engagement failure) and F0E5 (off balance load) continuing to display in the fault history. Ran diagnostic cycle and the unit would lock the lid, fill with water, agitate, than shut off and say it was completed. Powered the unit back on the attempted to run a drain and spin cycle and the unit displayed canceling cycle and would not respond. Powered the unit off for 5 minutes and entered diagnostics to recalibrate the unit, unit would not start the cycle. Attempted to activate individual components and nothing would respond. It appears there is an issue with the control board or control panel and would recommend replacing both."

Inspected unit and found the door not closing properly due to the gasket and gap in between the inner and outer liners. Replaced parts and sealed up the gaskets. All checks OK

Unit not defrosting properly needs a defrost kit and control board customer to think about repair at this time
