Found the unit getting stuck in a defrost cycle and not returning to cooling mode. The symptoms of a stuck defrost mimic that of a sealed system leak and a partial frost pattern. Advised the customer on estimate to reset the board and change defrost default settings, approved. Advised if the unit does not start cooling by end of the day tomorrow then they truly have a sealed system leak and not a recommended repair on a 9 year old unit."
